UNI, the Italian Organization for Standardization, is a private non- profit organization founded in 1921 and recognized by the State and the European Union, to study, develop, approve and publish voluntary standards - the so-called "UNI "- in all sectors of industrial, commercial and service sectors (except in those electrical and electrical). UNI members are businesses, professionals, associations, government agencies, research centers and schools. UNI represents Italy at the organizations European Standardisation (CEN) and international (ISO). The aim of UNI is to develop technical standards in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Italian social-economic system and support tools are technological innovation, competitiveness, promotion of trade, consumer protection, environmental protection, quality of products and processes.
